I once saw this discussion unfold on the autism parenting subreddit where the person being discussed was an autistic man who is a pedophile and actively taking steps to groom and assault kids both within and outside of his family. There were actually people trying to excuse his behavior on the grounds of him "having the mind of a child". I couldn't believe it.
