I'm non-binary, assigned female at birth, neurodivergent in a way that makes me inconsistent and often bad at interviews. I am decent at and not afraid of math. I am certain I more so belong behind a computer 12 hours a day than in the "people" roles. I'm currently getting a master's in computer engineering. I've never known where I fit in all of this gender parity in tech stuff. I've been told that "women in tech" stuff is also "for" me, but it has never felt quite right and I have always been the most masculine of center person in spaces like this and frequently get along better with men, even though I know I'm underrepresented in some way gender-wise.
