I've even had people do this to me too, as someone who started talking early. I was once the subject of a band mate's dad's podcast episode about "people who come from another planet". I can't tell you how many times I've been called a "savant". I was told I should have kids with another autistic person as "the next step in human evolution". The sensationalized toxic positivity and negativity are huge issues.
