The term "developmentally disabled" covers a wider range than you think. I'm autistic and have ADHD. Autistic people and ADHDers are by definition developmentally disabled no matter how it manifests. Here is an article breaking down what's possible within this realm:

I've noticed that for whatever reason, quite a few people tend to think that being developmentally disabled means you either must specifically have intellectual disability or cannot have any well-honed skills whatsoever.
