This is unsurprising. It really jumps out at me, because I tend to be a minority within a minority as a non-binary autistic person of color. Almost all of the autistic-led discussion going on is coming from from white cis women. Almost all of the autism parents talking about their autistic children are white cis women. Almost all of the clinicians and service providers talking about autism are white cis women. Almost all of the research subjects are white cis boys. People tend to mostly talk about what they know first-hand. The intersectional crumbs I have seen that concern race tend to fall into the trap of focusing on parents of autistic children.
