We've been making splashes about this even since I was a kid. These days, they definitely are hiring on some autistic people into some substantial positions, but this in and of itself, while definitely a necessary step, isn't enough. I've noticed a pattern in the autistic people they hire, who have managed to stick around for some time, and what they all seem to share is this willingness to throw themselves under the bus using a rather veiled form of aspie supremacy and respectability politics whereby they feel that those more "severe" than them are the only ones who deserve support and access.
